When you take a couple of lovebirds to a flower forest and a beach and they laugh the whole time....
Don't let freezing temperatures big coats scare you, winter is a perfect time to have an engagement shoot! Newport has tons of great scenic locations that offer picturesque backdrops any time of year. Not to mention indoor portraits. Often the best places are the ones closest to home. Consider a coffee shop you frequent, a local library or bookstore, or my favorite: the couch. Home engagement shoots let you completely relax, cuddle up with your favorite blanket, or dog, and do what you do best. Here is a fun shoot on the beach, at 30 degrees!
Meet Katrina & Kevin: two creative and lovable masterminds who fashioned a wedding venue in their Rhode Island backyard then filled it with friends, family, burgers, and a dance floor. It was genius....and gorgeous. We loved how they preserved some classic wedding traditions while weaving in their own flare for fashion (and fairies) and fun. Here are some pictures from the day!
Here's to hoping your kids carefully choose the kind of candy you like.
Can't wait to start sharing new work here! For now, (and most likely forever) we'll bring you Ophelia. Our girl/giraffe. xx
